Anyone got a Wii

I've got a working one, just soak testing it now. That's the hard part of fixing them, you've got to play on them for days before you can sell them on. Thank god for my little boy, he loves them. (Also I don't have to pay him ). I can chip it for you as well if you want, as long as you only play backups of your original games.

So you fix and chip consoles yourself Paul? Just Wii or PS3/Xbox too?

Just Wii's and Xbox's for now, I'm thinking about branching out into the DS market though

Cool mate, very handy to know! Might be "reacquiring" our old Wii from the in laws soon.

So hows things since M$ barred all those chipped Xboxes the other week? Worked around it yet?

There's talk of a fix, all you need is a good key from an unbanned console and the new ixtreme LT firmware, but I've not seen that work yet. Not seen the new firmware tbh, but I've not checked the usual places. There's a few bricks to be had cheaply though

not tried tbh, I'll have a look today if I get a spare minute. Also still not had time to look at those other 2, wii's are a pain in the @34e to open up as far as the bluetooth / wifi modules. It's easy up till that point, just loads of silly plastic bits that fall off.

51330 (off the top of my head), I tried the pass a few times but didn't want to do more than 3 tries in case sumthing fekt me router up!

Anyway, I'm out of a job come Friday, so plenty of time to suss it out next week ..
