On stage at the EA E3 press conference we announced a new expansion of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 with a new take on a Battlefield franchise favourite, Vietnam. In Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam you get to enter the jungle warfare environment as either the U.S. Marines or North Vietnamese Army (NVA). The expansion pack contains 4 brand new maps built in Frostbite including the popular Conquest and Rush game modes as well as Vietnam specific weapons, vehicles, persistence, unlocks as well as new awards, achievements and trophies.

Well we haven't been much of a "competitive" clan for a while now, so we've decided to call it a day as far as matches go.

After nearly 750 matches in 2 leagues, 7 games and 7 years, it's time to just play for fun. Like we didn't anyway!?

Thanks to all Flatties past & present, and all friends (& foes). We hope to keep this domain going for at least another year now, and hopefully we can continue this as a meeting place for our community.

I'd like to thank all Flatliners (past & present), and all friends of Flatties for helping us through to our 7th birthday.
I know we aren't very active these days, due to growing family & work commitments, and members playing different games etc, but while we still have a TS2 and a website ... we're still here!

I hope we can get some games together this weekend, wether that be UT2k4 (or UT3), BF2 (or 2142)) or some flavour of CoD (MW, WaW, MW2).
Unfortunately I can't be around on Saturday night now, but I hope to get some games in Friday and Sunday night, and perhaps Saturday daytime.

Just pop in the forum to see what may be going on.

Hopefully we can pull something together for 2010, and get us back on track.
